Bug alert! Second round! After we uploaded, our friends who played the game commented about the bugs they have found in the game. Also, some people commented that our instructions are not clear. This week is mainly fixing the minor bugs, and getting ready for presentation! End of MP, here I come!

There were some problems with Sam's animation. Wee You told me about it and i tried to change. So at last we came to a solution. Then the game was uploaded onto the internet. So we get to try our game out. A lot of bugs occured and some of the graphics needed were missing. So we tried to solve it and get it done as soon as possible. Some of the sounds are missing. I am trying to find sounds for Pei fen to integrate it into the game.

There are still many bugs in the game so we are still in the process of debugging and get everything to be fixed.

The game is now up on the internet! I spent most of my week advertising my game to my friends, asking them to help me vote. Also finalized some documentation and sent them to Begum. Also programmed the interface of the game, allowing it to show the instructions which Begum just sent me.

This week is busy, other than debugging, I gotta add things like startscreen, instruction screen, pda. On top of these, I gotta do the marketing events too. BUSY BUSY BUSY . Also, voting start tomorrow!

27th September 2009 Week 25

Name: Wee You


There was a playtesting session this week, and the juniors found a lot of bugs. Firstly, I missed out a few collision boxes in Level 1. Also the recently-editted level 3 proved to be very buggy as well. Luckily for me, I know the reason behind these bugs and solved it quickly.


They also found out about the drag and drop bugs that I was desperately hoping that they won’t notice. Well, this means that other players will see it too. Instead of relying on the internet, this time I read it through clearly and brainstormed for ideas to solve it. With help from Mr. Chong Ming, I finally diagnosed the problems and successfully solved it. Byebye bugs.


Sucks to be working during my birthday though.

We organize a playtesting session this week. Other than play test session, I’m still doing debugging and also doing timer. BUGS BUGS GO AWAY. Also, voting start tomorrow! Also, I’ve emailed all the secondary school in Singapore to promote.
